Dr. Anya Cox
Owner, Head Coach and General Manager
I'm a physical therapist and head coach at Findlay Movement, and I believe this community is doing something that traditional healthcare rarely gets right: meeting people where they are and building health that actually lasts.
After more than a decade in outpatient orthopedics, I became convinced that lasting change comes from consistent effort that can start in the clinic but has to continue outside of it. That belief is what brought me to Findlay Movement, first as a member in 2022, and eventually as a coach and co-owner.
My background is in treating lifters and fitness athletes across all ages and stages, and that work shapes everything about how I coach. I don't believe in age limits on athleticism. I've seen people in their 60s discover strength they didn't know they had, and I've helped athletes manage chronic pain long enough to remember why they loved movement, or to find a newfound love for it they didn't have before. Whether you're brand new to this, frustrated with programs that haven't stuck, or navigating an injury that traditional care hasn't been able to resolve, that's exactly the work I'm here for.
When I'm not coaching, I'm usually outside somewhere with my husband and our three silly dogs. He calls me a plant. He's not wrong. I'm also an avid reader and lifelong learner, lately with a deepening focus on breathwork, meditation, and somatic healing.
